Church of the Beloved is a newly-formed community for the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

For years, we’ve seen the need for more inclusive and affirming Christian ministries here on the Coast. Now, we have an opportunity to build a community from the ground-up where everyone is truly welcomed and celebrated—no exceptions. If you’ve ever felt excluded from church or faith because of who you are, what you believe, or where you come from, know this: You are beloved. You have a place here.

But this is bigger than just one church. Part of our mission will be to help other faith communities in Mississippi become more inclusive, ensuring that affirmation becomes the norm, not the exception. This isn’t about competing with or replacing existing ministries—it’s about collaborating, building connections, and expanding opportunities for faith beyond the traditional Sunday morning.

We’ll also be partnering with local organizations to serve our community—because now, more than ever, faith must be put into action.
